Personally I’ve had the least luck with BUTT and liquidsoap. The connection seems to timeout and generally be unstable. It seems to work better with shoutcast or plain icecast.

Quite convenient for broadcasting straight from a Ableton or any other DAW.
Note this VST plugin is 32 bit, so it won’t work in Ableton 9 or any other 64bit host without using something like jBridge. Also as far as I can tell the project is basically abandoned.

Works well and seems to still be maintained. Definitely recommended if you’re on
OSX, as its OSX only.
